positioning couches, the Merit Drop End Streamline couch features
a short head section which drops to a vertical position to allow
manual traction and mobilisation of the neck. In addition, the long

Akron Drainage Streamline
| The Akron Drainage couches have been
designed, by order of therapists, to give maximum comfort and assistance
in the positioning of the patient. The provision of "powered
drainage" permits effective and effortless patient positioning
for the treatment of a number of pulmonary related conditions as
well as providing additional comfort in the prone position. The "split
leg" option provides the ability to be able to isolate either
of the lower limbs for a variety of rehabilitation and mobilising
positions as well as providing an effective backrest when used in
seated position. Equipped with foot-bar switch for height adjustment.

Akron Mobile Treatment Couch Streamline
| This "top of the range" two section couch
is designed where there is a need to transport patients intra or
inter departmentally. The large "linked" wheel-base permits "fully
rotating" or "fixed wheel" steering when being moved.
Alternatively, the wheel system can be fully locked when being used
for examinations or treatments. Quick release chrome cot sides are
provided as standard to enhance patient safety. The electric battery
back-up model permits emergency positioning independent of the power
supply. |
