HighTone power therapy or HiToP is a new quantum leap in the field of electrotherapy. Conventional electrotherapy stimulates nerves and muscles.

The primary aim of HighTone power therapy is a direct effect on the metabolism of the cells. In HighTone power therapy the amplitude and the frequency are modulated simultaneously. The higher the frequency, the more energy can be introduced correlating to the individual threshold of the patient’s electro-sensitivity. Thus, it is a SIMULtaneous Frequency and Amplitude Modulation (SIMULFAM®i).

The HiToP uses HighTone frequencies between 4.096 and 32.768 Hertz. Classical electrotherapy is applied for 5 to minutes, but HighTone power therapy is applied for up to 60 minutes.

The principal effects of the HighTone therapy are:
• supply of energy to the body, activation of the cells in order vitalise the body.
• creation of resonances in order to make the cells and the tissue structures oscillate, with the aim to improve metabolic processes and to relieve pain.

The HiToP PowerStim 142 allows treatment of various indications, such as:
• gonarthrosis, coxarthrosis, cervical spine syndrome, lumbar spine syndrome, shoulder-arm syndrome
• polyneuropathia, epicondylitis, wounds, tiredness and stress
• other indications are also successfully treated.

The unit can be used in sports medicine and rehabilitation.

You can install 20 user defined programs for individual usage. Programs 1 to 4 are directly reachable by buttons. Programs 5 to 20 can be loaded by the menu. With the surge parameters you can set rise, hold and rest time of a sports program.

A special feature is the synchronisation of the 2 channels. During the rest time of channel 2, channel 1 is active and vice versa.
